Reloop, in collaboration with the Waste Management and Resource Recovery Association of Australia (WMRR), orchestrated a series of three webinars aimed at delving into the latest developments in packaging management within Europe, and extracting insights for Australia in the lead up to public consultation on packaging reforms.
In this third and final instalment of the series, our CEO, Clarissa Morawski, provides an overview of how France intends to implement the EU packaging and waste directive and recovery targets within its existing packaging Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) scheme. In France the packaging EPR system stands as a cornerstone in waste management and environmental sustainability efforts. Within this framework, producers are held legally accountable for the entire life cycle of their products, including their disposal.
