Ahead of “Assises des déchets” in Nantes (October 3 2004), Reloop issued a press statement highlighting that despite promises made by former minister Christophe Béchu, very little progress has been made in tackling France’s mounting waste crisis.
With over 8 billion bottles and cans lost to landfill or incineration every year and €1.5 billion European plastic tax in 2023 alone, Reloop is calling on new Minister Agnès Pannier-Runacher to break the cycle of inaction.
The press release is available in its original French, please get in touch should you have any questions.
